Bird Calls

Bird Calls hail from Austin, Texas, with Everett Wren on fiddle, mandolin, percussion, and vocals, David Rabinowicz on guitars and vocals, and Taylor Turner on bass and vocals. They play riveting bluegrass and fiddle tunes and harmonize on songs about the human adventure.

Brand New Key

Brand New Key is an Americana five-piece out of Austin, with sound ranging in style from country to bluegrass instrumental to mountain music. Their newest album 'Hinterlands' layers harmonically rich melodies against the backdrop of a wild, uncertain landscape. Their songs explore the complexities of living in these modern times: navigating the Austin folk music scene, creating space for queer artists, and confronting unabating tides of change. The Hillsiders

The Hillsiders are an Austin-based acoustic bluegrass/folk band available to play for gigs, weddings, and other private events. Featuring Andi Jo on fiddle, Devon Canady on guitar, Hunter Hollingsworth on mandolin, and Dom Fisher on upright bass.

Hot Pickin 57s play an energetic fun mix of Bluegrass, Classic Country, and Americana music, featuring Max Zimmet on guitar/mandolin, Shawn Spiars on banjo, Michael Montgomery on fiddle and Vance Hazen on upright bass.

Long Prairie

Long Prairie frequently plays music around the Texas Hill Country. She has a dynamic and soulful vocal and is a solid rhythm guitarist and has been a devoted songwriter most of her adult life. Catch her in coffeehouses, distilleries, bars, and wineries. Also now booking for private events and festivals.

The Sieker Band

The Sieker Band is a professional bluegrass band playing in and around Austin, TX. The repertoire consists of bluegrass, country and swing numbers. Rolf & Beate have been writing a lot of original songs and instrumentals which are available on their numerous CDs. Their latest product is a documentary DVD.

Texas String Assembly

With nearly enough members to field a baseball team, Texas String Assembly is a rag-tag band of hooligans servin' up their own signature blend of grass-fed music. Listen to their debut album on Nine Mile Records, available in 2022 on all platforms. NMR's Rick Pierik says, "They are exactly what they sound like - accomplished acoustic string musicians playing in the venn diagram of bluegrass, folk-country, and hippie jugband music - and they have a fast-growing fanbase."
