Gus Miller & The Buzz Killers are making a name for themselves in the Bluegrass & Alternative Country scenes in Austin with their contemporary take on American Roots Music. Gus hosts a monthly, open bluegrass jam on the last Wednesday of each month from 7-10PM at Pershing Hall in East Austin. Livermore
Formed in March 2025, Livermore brings to the stage guitarists Marley Kezerian and Carter Stanley along with mandolinist Jacob Mink. After meeting in the jam scene around Austin, the trio decided to start making music together. Looking the reinforce the group’s sound, the trio brought Joslyn Boyer into the band to hold down the low end on bass. Informed by the traditions and standards, but not afraid to branch out into other styles, you’ll never guess what we’ve got coming next.

Strawberry Flats
Strawberry Flats was formed in 2021 by Hannah and Tony Giardino over coffee and a shared love of roots music. With roots in the Mississippi Delta and the heartland, their sound blends classic country and bluegrass (and a little bit of punk, too). They began as a duo and evolved into a full-band after meeting their mandolin player Kyle Smith, banjo player Noah Griffin, and bass player Lenny Nichols at the CTBA Sunday jams.
